Could you believe the semester is almost done? Time has flown this term, as it will be some of our last moments here at Eastern. In any event, it is important that we all finish out the term with a good close. We all know that the time is approaching for end of term exams, which is December 9th to 13th, 2019, so it is important for us to be prepared to take them. 1.     Start Early.

Taking time out of your schedule to adequately prepare for an exam rather than cramming materials the night before, results in better performances.

2.     Organize Your Study Space.

Make sure the area of study isn’t cluttered with papers for comfortableness, and also has enough room to place all the textbooks and relevant information.

3.     Take and Reorganize Notes.

Take notes of important and relevant information making sure to outline concepts and definitions so they’re easier to remember.

4.     Make it Fun.

Create fun ways to remember course material such as acronyms and songs.

5.     Organize Study Groups.

Study on focused topics with a group of classmates that may help with unacquainted questions.

6.     Take Regular Breaks.

It’s important to take breaks in between sessions in aims to give the brain a relaxing period. You won’t remember everything you’ve studied at once, so it’s importance to balance your study time.

7.     Stay Well-rested.

Another key factor to remember is making sure to get enough sleep the night before the exam, so as to be rejuvenated and fully focused.

8.     Plan the Exam Day.

Set everything out before the exam day, so as not to leave anything behind. In addition, make sure not to be late to the exam by preparing how long it will take to get to the examination class.

9.     Have Self-Efficacy.

It’s important to believe in your own abilities; be confident in your preparation and ability.
