The library on Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Wilburton’s campus hosted a party for the 2020 Super Bowl. The teams who competed in the 2020 Super Bowl were the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. 35 people joined the library at the party and things got intense as the two teams competed, which showed the true spirit of what football can do. The event made people connect as they rooted for their favorite teams, but in the end the Kansas City Chiefs won the game at 20-31.

“We had tons of fun at the superbowl and we are looking to celebrate the 20s with food, dance, and games at our Great Gatsby party on the 20th,” Maria Martinez, Director of Library Media Services, said.

The next party the library will be hosting is their book club where the book of discussion and theme is The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Celebrate the roaring 20’s with the library on Feb. 20.
