As students arrive back on campus for the Spring 2023, there are some important deadlines for financial aid and scholarships that students should take into consideration.
Types of financial aid at Eastern include Pell Grants, Supplemental Education Opportunity Grants, Academic Competitiveness Grant, Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grants, Tribal Grants and Scholarships, Work Study Programs, Direct Loans (Subsidized/Unsubsidized) and Direct Parent PLUS. To apply for these grants, you should visit the Eastern website or similarly contact Mimi Kelley, who is in the Enrollment Center on the Eastern Campus.
Scholarship applications should be submitted no later than Feb. 21; any students who complete an EOSC admission application will be automatically considered for all scholarships, Athletic, Foundational and Institutional). To meet eligibility requirements for institutional scholarships, students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better. For Foundational Scholarships students are required a 2.5 GPA or better. Scholarship award notifications are made in March. For returning sophomores, scholarships will automatically apply once renewal requirements are met.
For more information, please visit the Eastern website at www.EOSC.edu, or contact Mimi Kelley in the Enrollment Center.
