This Thursday, the United Ministry offered space for students to exploit their creative side and design their own door signs.
There were many different approaches to the activity, with some students choosing to include their flags. This was popular with the international students. Some opted for a more simple, colorful design, and there were even some movie-themed door signs.
The United Ministry also streamed a popular soccer game from Brazil, allowing the students to watch the game and feel a sense of home again.
The evening brought a creative and chill vibe for the students in the midweek to come and enjoy and relax their minds from studies or any stress. The United Ministry has created a place for everyone, especially students who have left their families at home and traveled from around the world to be at Eastern. Knowing that there is a safe place to go or to ask for anything can help students who may be finding things at Eastern a little overwhelming.
The United Ministry does this every Thursday at 8 p.m. for anyone to come along and join in. Every week is different, varying from advice talks to game nights, each just as enjoyable as the last. To find out more, you can follow The United Ministry on Instagram @unitedministryeosc;
