Eastern Oklahoma State College sophomore Koty Frank has earned his first Pitcher of the Week honors for the season. He was named the NJCAA Region II Pitcher of the Week for Feb. 10-16, 2020. This was the first time an Eastern baseball player has earned the distinction this season. Frank is a right-handed pitcher and utility player from Tushka, Okla. Through two games, Frank has pitched 13 innings with 27 strikeouts and a .69 earned-run average. Frank has only allowed seven hits and one walk so far this season.
Eastern Oklahoma State College freshman Karson Coffee earned Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 3-9. This was the first time an Eastern baseball player has earned the distinction this season. Coffee is a freshman from Bentonville, AR. So far this season, Coffee has a .833 batting average with 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored.
