Eastern Oklahoma State College’s Music Department held a modified Fall Concert, Oct. 21. Instead of the traditional concert, the concert was held outside in the amphitheater behind the Student Center during the lunch hour. While the wind threw a couple of curve balls for the participants, the concert persevered and became one of the few annual events taking place on campus this year. The concert had consisted of performances from the band , choir, and Eastern Expressions.
“It was great to see that, even during these turbulent times, the arts can still flourish and continue to bring enjoyment to people,” said Timothy O’Neal, Speech Department Chair.
Wayne Vogt conducted the band and choir, with Cheryl Wood-Myer as the piano accompanyist this semester. Zana Johnson-Ebingha led the student-led Eastern Expressions.
