The freshman livestock judging team at Eastern Oklahoma State College has had a fantastic start to their collegiate career.
First, they traveled to Hutchinson, Kansas, and competed in the Flint Hills Mid-American Classic. There they were 4th high team overall. Individually, Marlie Farris placed in the top 10.
The team then traveled to Dallas, Texas, to compete at the State Fair of Texas. The team came home with high team honors and two members, Gus Ward and Marlie Farris, place in the top ten overall.
The team plans on competing at the Tulsa State Fair to wrap up their fall contests. They are looking forward to a great and competitive season.
